A must see movie!

Southpaw was an incredible cinema experience! The characters and the actors who portrayed them were full of passion and grit! You felt their love...you felt their pain. Southpaw...a definite in our movie library!!

Very moving. Realistic. Jake Gyllenhall's portrayal of Billy Hope was convincing. Layla was amazing. Forest Whitaker was his usual compassionate yet from self. I do not like boxing, and was thus surprised at how much I liked the movie. It moved along well. Did not drag. And no artificial sensationalism.
