most of the funniest parts were already spoiled in the trailers.lots of gross laughs and over done jokes.Ed Helms especially got on my nerve.Was expecting such a hilarious movie but so many of the jokes were misses for me although the rest of the audience sounded as if they were laughing their heads off!

It was pretty dumb, but I did laugh enough to enjoy it.

It started out poorly. As the show progressed, it got better, but I'm glad I didn't pay for it. There were funny parts, but I thought Chevy Chase would have had more of a spot than he and his movie wife had. The movie portrayed the little brother as a bully for most of the film.

Besides it being a family road trip movie, this has nothing to do with the original series. Rusty wasn't a goof in the original films, so why is he a goof now? While I like Ed Helms, he was cast wrong for this film. The originals didnt resort to cheap laughs, and the Griswolds weren't complete idiots. The originals were about external factors affecting the plot more than the Griswolds being fools.
