The show is very good, especially for LOTR fans. Seeing more of the history of Middle Earth develop is fun. The show has a lot of slow moving parts but when the action happens it is exciting. The cinematography is stunning as well!

I've really been looking forward to season 2. The first episode was good, but started a little slowly for my personal taste. However, that may be because many of my favorite characters/storylines did not appear. This did make episode 2 more enjoyable for me overall, as the Khazad-dum and Harfoots/Stranger storylines resumed. All in all, I very much enjoyed the screening.

Special effects and CGI: A+ Character development: C Storyline/plot: C Continuity: D People who are invested in the series will enjoy it. But I had hard time making sense of the story and fitting the different scenes and characters together. (I didn't finish watching the first season.)

I think this is great for the Lord of the Rings fans for sure
