Too much of a musical and not a rockumentary I wanted to see more live music shots. Too much emphasis of his drug use and sexual preference. I wanted to hear and learn more about his raw talent..

Not a bad film, but too musical for me. I would've like a more in-depth story of how his more famous songs came about.

If you are a big Elton John fan, you will love the music and costumes. But the story itself is sort of light. I always wish they could go deeper into the minds Of The artist in these biopics. It was fun and it was kind-of differently told so it was entertaining enough.

The movie plot was not very good. I mean it was really more of a musical than anything. Seemed like it was good at the beginning but after the first 45 mins it was easily noticeable on what was going to happen the rest of the movie.
