What a waste of great talent. I loved the first movie but this sequel was just plain lame. The myriad of plot lines mostly fizzled. No chemistry between Richard Gere and anyone - he just came across as a douchebag.

Disappointing, the first one was much better. This film was filled with fluff and had too many filler scenes, that took away from the main story.

I found myself scratching my head several times while watching The Second Best Exotic Marigold Hotel. The plot wasn't very clear and the events leading up to the confusing plot seemed out of place and irrelevant. For example, Penelope Wilton's part.With all the side love stories going on, I wasn't sure which one to root for until the end when everyone was paired up except Maggie Smith's character.
