I found the story line a bit on the corny and for that I gave the movie only 3 out of 5. The plot of the story about Doug and Hognob and the team going against the bronze age city team to save their village over a game of soccer I mean common that was a bit of a over reach. I still would recommend the movie for young kids. I seen some animated movies that I enjoyed but this one is not on my list.

The film makes you feel good and there parts that made my son and I laugh. However, my son and I found that the story became predictable at some point. We did find the main characters sympathetic.

It was a ok movie. It has some funny scenes. I like the ending it was funny.
