Just like The Report (2019). It is unbelievable that these things truly happened. I'm still shocked and devastated by some of the scenes that appeared while watching the film. I really liked it!

It was a good movie. Well produced.. great acting. I'm not 100% convinced that he was completely innocent, but nobody should have to suffer without any charges or a fair trial in America. Did he help plan the 9/11 attacks, nobody will ever know. But torturing someone into providing a confession is no way to build trust in such a confession. I'm curious why Obama extended his sentence after he won his trial. I feel there's more to the story that we were not told. I still have a lot of questions about why he associated with terrorists, trained with al Queida, deleted his contacts (a normal innocent person would not do this or even think to do it). Why did he lie about knowing the person in the photo, then go on to say yea I met him once, and then we find out the guy stayed at his house. Just too many "coincidences" and lies for me to 100% believe that he's innocent. However, he comes across as a very nice and well educated individual. Maybe he's just a cunning manipulator who knows how to persuade people. Maybe he's 100% innocent. Either way, it was a great story but I'm left feeling unsure. Should I feel bad that an innocent man spent almost 20 years in guantanamo bay? Should I feel bad that someone who may have recruited the 9/11 terrorists walks free? Like... I just don't know how to feel about it because movies are meant to sway your opinions and beliefs, and this movie's goal is to convince us that some or all of the detainees in guantanamo may be innocent. Nobody can really know the truth. It's a lot to ponder.
