The premise had promise. However, the acting was overdone and exaggerated by a main character (Del Rio). Additionally, there was an incredible opportunity to discuss the current ICE situation and it was missed. If that wasn’t something the director and his team wanted us to think about, then why include a scene where Renato was in custody? I had high hopes but felt the entire movie fell flat.

I didn't enjoy the fact that this movie was mostly in Spanish. Having to follow the CC took away so much from the effectiveness of the humor.
