Solid action-drama film.

I think both main actors did a great job in the roles they were given to play in Greenland and I was rooting for them each time they ran into trouble. The movie itself was a bit slow, with a predictable plot and not enough time (in the beginning) to get invested in the characters as much as I would have liked. Good way to spend a couple of hours, I'm not complaining.

The apocalyptic feel of the movie is chillingly comparable to current times. 2020 has felt like the year to end all years and this movie puts you into that world. While the plot runs similar to several other story movies from previous years, it does have a few twists and turns. Overall it was a fair movie and worth checking out. But don’t expect anything groundbreaking or memorable.

There were many suspenseful, high action scenes which were appreciated. However, the script was not great with several scenes that were unnecessary and detracted from the film. One of them, when Gerard tried to save the man in the burning car and ended up burning his arm badly, perhaps the hardest to accept is the kid’s insulin. How did he survive 9 mo’s in the shelter and how will he survive after ? Where will he get more insulin?
