Its important to be reminded of history. It seems to remind me that I need to exercise compassion for others around me. I liked that the story focused on the zookeeper's wife, rather than the zookeeper or any other character. With the focus on the wife it shows the strength, determination, compassion, fortitude, etc. that so many women demonstrate everyday.

This movie was excellent. There was expected scenes that were still shocking and the audience was captured from the moment it began. It definitely brought tears to my eyes.

A good film, but in parts hard to watch - wish that they had including more of the brutality of the film in the advertising to prepare people.

Superb acting, an interesting and amazing story that deserves to be told. Very well done! Go see it.
