Smart, moving film about working through grief. Jungian!

A Monster Calls is the first beautiful tearjerker of 2017. Anyone who's ever been through anything hard will love this movies. The performances from ALL the actors are brilliant. The first half starts a little slow, but then picks up and kept my interest for the rest of the film.

I really enjoyed this movie. It was a lot different from what I expected and I don't think its the children's movie it comes across as but it was very good. Its about a boy coming to terms with his mothers battle with cancer and her inevitable death. It will bring you to tears..

Wonderful movie, actors, affects, and story. The ending was unexpected. Glad I watched this movie.
