The cinematography was amazing. Actors were well casted. The costumes were on point. The story line was a little slow in places. When he met his mother it was rushed The scene didn't get me to buy in. I did enjoy how he tried to protect his stepfather and did the right thing in the end. I enjoyed Denzel Washington's character. I found it to be the right amount of violence. Overall 4 stars

Very good! Paul Mescal and Denzel Washington stole the show but really all of the performances were great. The cinematography, costumes, and set design were particularly well executed. It delivers on everything you’d expect of Gladiator 2.
