It’s amazing how Michael Jackson’s nephew, Jaafar Jackson, was able to capture his uncle’s essence so well. He gave a heart-lifting performance. The movie was entertaining. I especially loved the extended concert scenes. Of course, I would’ve loved to see more solo performances, but, I understand it was showcasing his early career.

I have always enjoyed Michael's music, so was looking forward to this movie, a fascination look behind the music

Michael was wonderful and sublime. The Movie was well done, but obviously very curated. Why not more highlight or emphasis of the meticulous Jackson work ethic and discipline which made his sublime talent shine? Wow, Juliano Krue Valdi and Jaafar! Domingo's portrayal gave me pause and appreciation for what it must have taken for his family to gain success in the context of this country and its history. Janet's TOTAL absence was a clear SCREAM about what was missing. Made me somewhat uncomfortable, being aware of the skirting around of things. However curiosity piqued and waiting for Part 2.

Great performances, use of the music can't wait for the next part. Only issue I had was the handling of the screening. I don't know if it was on behalf of the studio or the theater but there was a phone policy where they had to take our phones and there was no warning beforehand and the way it was handled after the movie was awful and they pretty much just let everybody walk up to the table and look for their phones instead of having some organization.
