Ethan Hawke is particularly creepy in this horror/suspense movie. Set in 1978, the movie has references to pop culture of the time period and the cinematography keeps it feeling nostalgic. There are occasional glimpses into the grabbers mind which keep you in suspense and guessing. A few interesting plot twists and not overly campy. Just enough interest to keep you guessing.

A kid kidnapped, a sister with vision, a disconnected phone ringing, and trying to escape. It felt like an escape room with only 1 player it didn’t make sense it’s just an okay movie. It felt good going into a movie theater after 2 years.

Overall it wasn’t bad. I didn’t leave wanting my hour and a half back. A little predictable and some bad editing but much better than I’ve seen lately. It ain’t easy making a movie, good or bad. :)

Interesting storyline with wonderfully intense moments that you may have paid for the whole seat but only need the edge!
