A very interesting perspective of how these four lives woven through friendship developed the launching platform for their individual and societal historical progression.

A heavy and deep look into the convergence of four vastly different black men and the struggles they endured and new paths they took. The movie invoked humor, provoked thought, and revealed the inner thoughts that led to the events immediately after one night in Miami.

One Night in Miami...wow. It purely revealed the brilliance of acting/producing/directing extraordinaire Regina King, and Kemp Powers's strong screenplay. Leslie Odom Jr as Sam Cooke and Aldis Hodge as Jim Brown were great, but Kingsley Ben-Adir's Malcolm X and Eli Goree's Cassisus Clay-Muhammad Ali were sublime. Each character tops each other, trading barbs in accomplishment and devotion to the underprivileged Black community during the turbulent 1960s. Only complaint about the dialogue-laden film is that it's about 30 minutes too long. Otherwise, One Night in Miami's a must-watch.
