I did not like this movie at all. It was an awful and most importantly, inaccurate depiction of gang violence in Vancouver. Gang violence started because of the racism Indo-Canadians faced when arriving and this was a disastrous depiction- especially the part about the religion. Deepa Mehta let me down TERRIBLY. She is such a brilliant director and she totally ruined this movie.

I DID NOT ENJOY THE MOVIE

Stilted dialogue. Unnatural / excessive swearing. Unfunny 'funny guy'. Vacuous, annoying gf character would never be tolerated by a 'heavy' as portrayed here. Disappointing, unbelievable movie overall.
