Fights well done, knew what kind of movie they were making, way too many characters to truly care about some

I own all 35 Godzilla films, been a fan all my life. This film lived up to the hype in almost every way I could imagine. Probably has the best kaiju battles in any of the films. The only problems I had with the film were the pacing and the score. The human story was almost incomprehensible (how much was cut for time?), and Junkie XL's score was terrible compared to Bear McCreary's KOTM score.

I found Maddie's subplot took away from the creative integrity of the film. Lance Redick was cool. Kong Axe was cool.
