It was ok. I didn't like the political moments in the film. A lot of stereotypes, that I guess I didn't realize that's what people thought of Americans or Mexicans. I live in Arizona and definitely don't feel that way. I would say go in with low expectations.

some charm, some laughs but I found the plot to be lacking

It had some good moments and Mendez was a good lead actor, but the screen play is too juvenile.

Plot was good, but comedy poor and out of sync. Actors did not work well together. Asher bad actor and not original. All other actors did well with their roles. Would have been better as a drama. Too many subtitles, too much switching between languages.
