The film tries to tug at the Latinx heartstrings while making us laugh. Unfortunatyely it fails and falls flat at both.

I loved the role reversal of the highly educated and successful Mexican lead with his half-brother, a goofy American dude. I gave it two stars because it was a bit predictable. Felt like the typical road trip movie, with a ticking clock and man needing to get to a destination before it was too late. At no point did I feel as he would not make it back in time for his wedding. The goat added a nice dynamic to the plot.

Very predictable and repetitive. They fight, they're friends, they fight, they're friends over and over. Would have liked to see more of how Renato behaved with his new son.

Would recommend it as a rental. Just wasn't as funny as we thought it would be.
