The overall premise of the movie seemed interesting and alluring enough to want to attend an advance screening. What seemed like a cool idea played out on the big screen very poorly. The storyline was very weak and basic, the characters and actors were not very convincing, which created the disconnect for me from the very start of the movie. I wasn't invested in the characters, so I didn't really care when they were killed off. The thrill and horror value of this movie was very low for me (even non existent), the monster being similar in nature to a monster you'd see from that other movie insidious. I would not recommend this movie to a friend, instead I would suggest possibly seeing Split, with the knowledge that even M Night Shamalan's movies are hit or miss.

The acting was terrible and so where a lot of the effects. The fire at the end? Terrible. I am so glad I did not pay to see this movie.

This movie was horrible. The story was bad and the suspense was horrible. I can't say I would recommend this movie to anyone.

Terrible movie. The concept was good had the potential to go down an interesting path however became very predictable and lack luster to say the least.
