Miserable fairytale ending but otherwise well crafted with impressive textures and scoring. Had a beautiful finale with Smurfette surrounded by all the smurfs as a lifeless blob of clay. Yet, instead of running the credits and provoking healthy, thoughtful discussion about loss and sacrifice, it flips the frowns upside with... umm... magic! Ultimately, just another useless farce to add to the ever expanding catalogue of societal babying. Everything will be okay in the world because ...magic!
