Excellent movie, great scenery, wonderful acting. They could have done a little better job with making it more obvious as to how long he was alone before he woke her up. How does Andy Garcia get a main character credit with 5 seconds of screen time and no lines?

I liked it. Both Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence had great performances. I can't say anything about the film ever took me out of the film. The visual effects were excellent. I'm only giving it 4 stars because nothing really stood out to blow my mind. It was a well balanced film. If anything, I thought Chris Pratt's character would have used the air coming out of his suit to propel himself through space, but really that's nothing. It was simple & relatable even though it's set in space.

This film had a very interesting story line that showed the possibilities involved in space travel. Great special effects and very well explained. Easy to follow the predicament and wonderful futuristic settings. Acting was very believable! The ending was predictable knowing the time line for arriving at Homestead II was beyond their life expectancy, but I think a better ending would have had Aurora and James having a couple children and Aurora's story would be playing as the passengers awoke!

My husband and I are sci fi enthusiasts and big fans of Jennifer and Chris so we were very excited to see this. They did not disappoint with their chemistry and excellent performances. The special effects were jaw dropping and storyline was original. We felt the movie ended too soon and should've given more explanation to Jim & Aurora's fate. Did she stay with him? Did they have kids? Did they find a way to re-hibernate and wake up with everyone else? We may never know unless there's a sequel.
