It's a very entertaining movie...more of a comedy than a horror film. The special effects are a plus making it stand way ahead of the classical Dracula movies. Nicolas Cage is surprisingly good in Renfield.

Renfield manages to marry horror into a casual movie. I would recommend it for a relaxed night out with friends. I did wish there was more time spent on character development: how Renfield was bound to dracula (not just how they met), what happened to his family and that of the police officer's father. Clocking in at 1h33, there was definitely room for that without being 3h long.

It’s a fun movie that met my expectations. It’s funny and Awkwafina was hilarious!

Renfield was a terrific blend of comedy, action, and thriller. The acting/script was good for the most part, but there were moments where it was a tad off. With that being said, I would still recommend this to anyone that loves the genre and is looking to be entertained on many levels.
