I loved it. Great 80's fun horror comedy. I enjoyed the young actresses and how well they played their roles. I really felt like these girls were great friends. I felt the jokes were great. I had a bit of a rough start starting the movie. After I refreshed my browser, I didn't have any difficulties. Overall, I will probably watch this again some time soon.

The soundtrack, costuming, and dialogue definitely immerse the audience in the 80's. Hit songs transport a viewer to the time period being portrayed on film. The plot consisted of unexpected moments. This film is a fun concoction of humor, human connection, and horror. Although it was difficult to empathize with or have sympathy for core characters at certain points, the story delivered a tidy conclusion that established a new sense of normal for the characters.

A whimsical take on exorcism serving as the trapping for a story about friendship. The exorcism, deviating from the norm, is played for laughs serving to address the idea that love in its purest form is what exorcises evil. Abby, who is Jewish, quickly dispenses with the Bible as a means of freeing her best friend, Gretchen, from Andras's possession, instead using memories of their fun adventures to compel the demon out. With some devious teenage tomfoolery executed by possessed Gretchen, the evil acts are fitting commentary on the difficulties of teen-hood and accepting yourself. Recommended!
