I did not like the beginning of the movie. Didn't grab/hold my interest and I kept thinking I would not have been happy if I had paid for the movie. Not sure when it happened, but---after a seemingly slow start, I enjoyed the movie.

It’s was a wonderful film that encapsulated the feeling of limbo, half dead but still alive. From the analogy with the chickens to the idea that the donation center supplies them with "ping pong" and friend's DVDs but not the essential things like coats, it all struck a chord. As well as the idea of putting them in the middle of nowhere, out of sight out of mind, to break them. But the one that struck me the most was the idea of "a musician who doesn't play music is dead.” In the end it’s like he regained his passion and hope but sadly went back in limbo as he waits for a response on his case.

Great story & cast but it needs more action & suspense & maybe better sound effects. It was too slow; I almost left but I stayed of-course to see the end & because I’m also a foreigner so I understand the challenges w/ immigration.

Funny and quirky. An unexpected story. Not formulaic at all.\r
