Beautiful, slow paced story of a woman trying to decide if life can be worth living after a terrible tragedy. Lush Canadian wilderness sets the backdrop to the film, told with a minimum of dialogue.

This movie touched me on so many levels. From the depths of sorrow and isolation Edy isn't so much rescued but rather led by a kindred soul on a path to acceptance of life. Beautiful scenery set a framework for the journey -- for one who was lost and alone and one who was aware of his ultimate future but who chose to give of himself. \r\rThis is the first new movie I have seen since the pandemic began. It reminded me of how good a movie can be.

Robin Wright proves she is as gifted a film director as she is an actress. LAND is a no holds barred ode to grief and the worth of each soul. Anyone who has lost a loved one will feel deeply for the two main characters. Make no mistake, this story gets to the core of pain that flows like a stream of lava through a person's body and mind when they experience PTSD. It takes courage to watch LAND. I highly recommend you do just that. Bravo, Ms. Wright, and thank you to your cast and crew! Please direct more films soon.
