I feel like I learned a bit more about these men that I did not know before. The performances were excellent, they all drew me in and kept me connected to the characters. One of my favorite scenes is the acapella song by Sam Cooke - the way he was able to engage a crowd. The way the film ends with Sam Cooke's song "A Change Is Going To Come" says it all. What a way to end it! Congrats to Regina King on her directorial debut! Job well done.

This is a strong, powerful film with four outstanding performances. It takes the intimacy of Million Dollar Quartet and elevates the story to a impactful social commentary as relevant today as it was in the 1960s. Regina King’s directorial debut clearly puts her on the map as a masterful storyteller. Thus us a must see film for 2021.

This was such a great movie—a fictional movie root in so much truth. I can not wait to watch it again.
