Probably more for adults than pre teens. My son watched with me and he thought it was a little slow. Enjoyed the character connections and got a few good laughs, especially with the parents.

Online screening is awesome! The movie was slow and boring.

CODA was an average casual viewing experience. I was not gripped by the storyline and, in fact, found it very familiar and repetitive. I also found the over use of culturally appropriated material with very little diverse representation left a sour note in my head throughout the duration of the movie. Many questions are left unanswered, what happens to her career? To her boyfriend? The business?

Great acting. I couldn't recommend this film because of the constant profanity and wonder if PG-13 is too low a rating. As a trained teacher and interpreter for the Deaf and hard of hearing, I would have hoped higher standards would have been used for all ages to learn about Deaf families in general. Thanks
