It struck me as Due Date with an international twist. Instead of a birth, the successful, uptight half of the duo needs to get home for a wedding. The wacky travel partner does inexplicable things to make that goal seem impossible. Along the way, they form an unlikely friendship and make it to the big event with not a minute to spare. Very Due Date-esque.\r\rI didn’t buy the reason for the dad not being involved in Renato’s life for decades. Even if he weren’t at fault for the separation initially, he should’ve fought to have a relationship with his son. He had the means to make it happen.

Smart and funny at times. Gorgeous scenery. But short on plot. Didn’t hold me.

Implausible and not very likable.

I didn't know that the movie had subtitles. I could not read them fast enough so I did not enjoy or watch the whole movie.
