This would be a great movie if they would have cut it down by an hour and sped up the action.

too long, too violent, to repetitive and at timestoo disturbing. Overall, not my kind of film.thanks. Also passes to get in was veryconfusing…4 different lines everyone wondering if they would or would not get in to the movie :)

I enjoyed this movie somewhat, but found it incredibly long and kinda boring. It was, however, interesting seeing a movie told about the Christian priests invaders, from the Japanese viewpoint. Christianity wasn't easily embraced, nor tolerated during the movie's period. Equally interesting was seeing the spiritual turmoil of the priests when faced with the threat of death, on sight.

Made you angry at the Japanese and how cruel they where to there own people. religion shouldn't be forced on other cultures and other religions should respect all religion.
