I have loved this band since my childhood (I’m 50+ years old now) and this director since Shaun of the Dead, so my expectations were sky high. Well, those expectations were met and exceeded! One of the finest documentaries about a band ever made… perhaps the best ever… can’t wait to see it again. Kudos!!

I have never heard any songs by Sparks prior to watching The Sparks Brothers and yet the documentary was able to keep me engaged and enthralled by the Mael brothers and their music. After watching this documentary, I'll be diving into their albums

I'm an 80s music baby, but I really knew little about Sparks. Their videos played on MTV and I always recognized them thanks to Ron's unique look. But seeing this movie not only gave me a greater appreciation for them, but an immeasurable respect for them sticking to their guns & remaining them these decades later. Many of the groups featured - Duran Duran, Depeche Mode, Erasure, Yaz, New Order - are ones that shaped my teenage years and I did not know that Sparks inspired them. I really hope that many people see this movie and give the guys the respect that they truly deserve. Kudos to them!
