Very intense, very difficult to understand as speaking was too fast and often in French with only occasional closed captions....Bradley Cooper was excellent in his role, as usual.

Good movie, spoiled somewhat by erratic behavior of the characters. Adam's trying to get his life back together, but he seemingly willingly goes off with drug dealers he can pay to be beaten, even when friends have offered to lend him the money to pay his debts. The assistant chef works with him only for the opportunity to screw him, although the character needs a job. Inconsistancies galore.

It was an emotional, home hitting movie because of the drugs and problems that can become your demons. I can say it did made me hungry.

I would watch it again, because it was entertaining. But it was a little cheesy and predictable.
