I thought it was an interesting movie because while most movies about musicians constant their music, this was filmed like a musical in a Sound or Music type of way with Elton Johns life being the story line of the musical.

I really enjoyed the movie. It was entertaining, albeit somewhat depressing. Taron Egerton put in a wonderful and energetic performance as a young Elton John. I think it is worthy of a Best Actor Oscar nomination. Elton John's music was also used to great effect in the movie to complement the story. I would not mind watching it again.

Good story, great music. People who enjoy Elton John's tunes will love it.
