Beautifully executed! Heartbreaking and hopeful…

This is not a film to go see casually. It is a tragedy in a tragedy. I thought I was prepared, having read the book. I was not ready for the power of the visceral performances. Stunning. My only negative was finding many of the transitions abrupt and confusing without the background of the book.

Very moving, powerful, intense.

The movie is a very well written and executed story of Hamlet that inspires me to learn more about Shakespeare. The acting was great and the cinematography helped me connect with the characters emotionally.
