Good, not great.

I thoroughly enjoyed this film.Reminiscent of the Charles Bronsen 'Death Wish' franchise, it is written and paced far better.It had some scenes that were tremendous. Breathing new life into a genre that could feel pretty stale.However, there were a couple scenes that simply didn't work and I am at a loss as to why they played so poorly to the audience.Overall, its a movie worth watching and I am sure we will have a sequel, soon.

The bulk of this movie is good, with strong performances, a palpable sense of suspense and an interesting plot. However this is all sabotaged by the sudden ending that leaves a bad taste in you mouth. Everyone at the screening were voicing confusion and asking one another, what the hell just happened? What does it mean?

Much calmer than the first film. Wish the film had developed the story between Isabella was rescued and the 1 year later. When the credits came up, I was confused and felt like I was left with a lost seen or two.
