The special effects and fight scenes are good but the Flash's character is young, inexperienced and goofy. The new image of the DC character is a break away from the confident strong image of Flash from the comics and years before. The idea to make the character a weak inexperienced goofy kid was a mistake and takes away from the image of the character and what filmmakers could do with him

This movie doesn't fit the tone of the DC universe it was set in. The special effects were not up to 2023 standards; everything looked like a cartoon when it was supposed to be real. I cannot recommend this entry for anyone who likes the Zack Snyder entries of the DC films.

CG was subpar, character relationships were not fleshed out, main character did not grow as a person (the whole movie is based on him learning to accept his inability to change the past then immediately after learning the lesson he does it again).

The CGI is probably the worst I’ve ever seen. Those PS2 graphic depictions of Christopher Reeve, Adam West, etc. is so disrespectful and out of taste. “Oh Cyborg and Superman aren’t available right now” yeah because you fired the actors. It’s so ironic it’s funny that a movie about how the past makes us who we are is also actively trying to retcon and erase what came before.
