I think the story line should have been different along with the ending.

It was okay I guess, there are a lot of capital D Decisions that are made story-wise throughout the film and it didn't quite pull me in enough to make me want to parse through my opinion on each of them

I found it to be gruesome.

I was totally on board with this film right up until the last sequence. I felt that Cassie's death was entirely unnecessary and shoehorned into the plot for the sole purpose of shocking the audience. Her death resulted in the meaning behind the movie being tainted. Instead of it being a movie speaking to rape culture, it became one of "all men are evil and will rape women, and women cannot make men pay unless men kill them."
