A bit slow. There were quite a few scenes in the film that just felt thrown in and not really cohesive.

Beautifully shot. Well acted. Kind of slow. A little predictable. I'd recommend it for people who have gone through great loss. It's why I watched it. Thanks for the opportunity.

Such a downer. And left more questions than answered them. Where was the cabin located? Who the heck is Emma? What’s that all about? Wouldn’t the bear come back for more food especially if she slaughtered and hung a deer to dry. Where did she keep the meat if no electricity and not freezing outside? \rMiguel’s story was better than Edee’s. At least believable. \rCinematography was beautiful though. Gorgeous country. \rI’m too literal. Sorry.

I was so looking forward to this screening - my first with Focus Features. I claimed my reservation the minute I got the email about an hour before the show, made my popcorn and set up my viewing area 15 min before start time. Unfortunately, I had tech problems and was eventually locked out of the screening. I kept hitting play and it automatically & repeatedly bounced me back to pause. When it finally played on my phone (screen mirror to my TV) I selected full screen mode and it stopped playing and from there it was unrecoverable. I'm super bummed to have miss this film.
