Well told story.

I was surprised by how much I enjoyed it. It took me a bit to really get into it but once that happened....I was ALL IN! Excellent drama, that slowly turns into an edge of your seat thriller! There were also moments that make me actually LOL. The lead actor was incredible. There were several moments where I was upset that I couldn't rewind and watch a scene over again! I haven't enjoyed Jodie Foster in a movie this much since Panic Room! Benedict delivers another transformative performance, disappearing into his character even more so than any previous performances. It's sure to make very controversial for some... making those people hate the film regardless. Yep, it's controversial. Making you look at something in a new light and an open mind.

Started off a bit slow but by the end I was into it and cried like a baby. Main guy is an amazing actor and where the hell did Cumberbatch pull that accent out of?! Such a sad story. I hope lots of folks watch it and see that even Mr. Obama isn't perfect.

Good performances. Weird hearing Cumberbatch with a drawl. Early on the film felt like it was going to be simply a Bush-bashing, but it redeemed itself nicely by acknowledging the fact President Obama kept Mohamadou in prison longer AFTER he won than he was in Gitmo BEFORE his case was heard. May be considered an "oscar-bait" film, but I'm not sure it rises to that level, overall. Still, a solid effort and one which needs telling.
