The premise of Songbird was intriguing, but I felt it didn't really explore the possibilities well enough. It felt very Hollywood, with a somewhat predictable plot (which really didn't develop much), unrealistic timelines, and logic holes. It was ok for what it was, but it had a lot of wasted potential.

Given everything that is going in in the world right now the thought that this is what could transpire is terrifying. I honestly could not make it through the whole movie, so I could have missed some redeeming factor. Overall it just felt like a really wrong time for this movie.

It was okay.

The storyline was choppy. The characters were not developed and their backstories underdeveloped and shallow. It was hard to be invested in any of them and their outcome. The ending was meh.
