I was pleasantly surprised by the movie. It was quite enjoyable.

This was a unique film as it is about a daughter's relationship with her deaf family and being able to make a life of her own even though her family is so reliant upon her. It was really inspirational to see the family dynamics in this storyline.

Loved it!

I applaud the filmmakers for tackling a movie about deafness. Everybody seemed angry, however, especially in the beginning, which bothered me. Why does this family love each other? Signing was done with pounding emphasis, which felt angry. I craved softness, which came out at the end, thank goodness.
