There were things I liked and things I did not. The film looks beautiful, as you would expect from Scott. The cinematography and FX are reason enough to make sure you see the film in cinemas. It takes its time to introduce characters and draw you into their world. It failed to differentiate itself from Prometheus and it also ultimately failed to move toward some sort of end goal for the Alien series in general.

I dod not care for the movie. If I were watching at home I would have turned it off the first 15 minutes in. Too many inconsistencies and just over all boring with mediocre acting.
