Excellent performance by Tom Hanks, as always, and some amazingly realistic re-creations of the plane crashlanding; however, the pace was very uneven and the editing choppy and somewhat repetitive.

Entertaining and interesting story. Great special effects, should be seen in the movie theatre.

There will be Oscar nominations for this for sure. Not nearly as bombastic as American Sniper though. Very straightforward procedural wise, but emotional. The reenactments are very moving.
