The actors did a wonderful job portraying their characters. I wish the movie delved into Bologne’s childhood and \rearly introduction with music in a much deeper way. The film was richly entertaining.

Interesting look at a long-suppressed figure in the French arts.

Beautifully made, but dragged out sometimes. Also felt like too many plot lines were happening at once. Very pretty movie.

Interesting storyline but something (characters maybe) was not developed enough to appreciate it. But I will watch it again. Scenes were choppy and thus didn't flow well. Sometimes it seemed that I was watching a series of scenes instead of a developing story. Refreshing to see unfamiliar and talented actors. Costumes and music well-done.
