Feel good movie that talks to the dog lovers. Lots of reaction in in audience when Max gets hurt or wins a fight agints a bandit. Kids especially but also adults get emotionally involved in the adventure.

Wasn't really marketed as a kids movie but turned out to be one. I was expecting more history doc esq instead of a cheesy overly flawed plot line that comes with kids movies. Many scenes where over exaggerated and the casting of father could've been way better. All of the marketing and branding says hardened war movie, the movie said military air jordan for kids.

Great for families with kids under 12. Very PG film, lost a lot of potential because of it. Felt like an Air Bud movie.

It is a very good "feel good" Movie, My wife and I very much enjoyed it.
