Excellent acting and screenplay

Really nice feel good movie, David vs Goliath. Foxx played an unusual character, which I enjoyed. Jones did not hide his age much, which was authentic. The history of racism was done well, bringing it into the current day still

A story that needed to be told. A great cast.

I liked the acting from all the main players. Jamie Foxx, Tommy Lee Jones, Mamadou Athie, Jurnee Smollett, Bill Camp, and Alan Ruck. Everybody pulled their weight to make the story credible. Jones made me want to root for Jerry O'Keefe. Jamie Foxx is a scene stealer. He was well-cast as the flashy Willy Garrett. I wished there had been more feelgood moments, so when I go back I can say I want to see that part again when... Most of those feelgood moments had Mamadou Athie at the rein, I liked how convincing he was to get Garrett on board with the law team.
