This is an eye-opener movie. The movie is a bit long but the acting is very good. Looks like there are a lot of things that the US government is doing behind closed door that are very shady. GitMo is a sad story and the movie helps shed some light on the situation.

Powerful

It's hard to believe that OUR government would have allowed this to happen. My heart breaks for all those who are treated like this, especially those who have been "framed", mistreated, or held without specific charges.. How can this happen in our country, within our own democratic government? Who do those who allow this to happen answer to? Where does it end? Will this ever end? I'm encouraged that this new president will try to make this awful prison obsolete soon. How can we as a nation and individually apologize, and/or make right what has happened to these prisoners, regardless of the suspicions by others of wrong doing on the part of those still held there.

It's a story of perseverance. It shows that the government cover up went past party lines. The film had great performances. Especially Jodie Foster, the film was well produced. I am glad Benedict fought to make this film. I really wished that fear wasn't the way parts of the Justice system were used to keep law and order. Fairness and the pursuit of truth should matter more in the courts. I thought some of the other performances worth noting was The Mauritian and Shailene Woodley. This film hopefully shows that justice should prevail.
