#Greenland I saw this screener last night and if you are expecting huge explosions, with comet-shredding special effects, like Armageddon or Deep Impact, you’ll be disappointed. There are scenes of comet fragments impacting earth but the comet, named Clarke, is more of a supporting player. This is more of a realistic portrayal of how humans would act selflessly and selfishly during an extreme crisis; aka ELE - Extinction Level Event. There are a few gratuitous scenes of cities being wiped out, I’m looking at you Tampa, but overall, Clarke lingers in the background; to keep reminding all of us of how tenuous life really is. With all of the technology we possess, we’re still at the mercy of the most basic elements of nature. Interesting note, Gerard Butler plays John Garrity, a Scottish Structural Engineer. Being half from Garrity stock, we are Irish, not Scottish. Overall, I give Greenland four stars for acting, script and integrity. Five stars to Butler, who plays a nobody from Atlanta who isn’t trying to save the world, only his wife and son. Unlike Bruce Willis, a nobody who saves the world, single handed, on a comet in space; that’s realistic...

it kind of shows the reality in case of pandemic. it feels more like a documentary, instead of Coment, just put COronoVirusDisease-19 and feels same. How selfish people behave is showed well. Plot is good and don't feel much of a cliche though.
