It’s a different movie with an interesting end. It has a good theme. People should always think about the consequences of their acts not just in the short term, but in the long term as well.

I think the topic of trauma was handled well, with the implication that trauma can have a lasting impact on one's life. However, I do feel that the ending of the film - and Cassie's final scene, in particular - could have been handled more delicately. I am struggling to justify why we needed to physically see her being murdered, and also why it went on for such an extended period of time. I found it to be rather triggering, especially considering how the film was presented as a rape revenge fantasy. In this regard, I think there was a disconnect between the film's marketing and its content.

The movie starts out slow, but the ending was completely unexpected.
