It was boring

Thank you SO MUCH for the screening of Songbird - I really appreciated it as it's my first ever screening as a film buff and I had a lot of fun with the experience. As an aspiring screenwriter and film junkie who has been lacking with movie watching lately due to being sick, you guys really cheered me up last night with this event! However, I felt the movie wasn't great. I felt like the script could have been better and that it kind of felt like a TV pilot. I think the pacing wasn't too good and it was a bit uneventful as a whole. On the plus side, I really thought the actors did great jobs and the production was well done. KJ App and Demi Moore were very good. Considering how quickly the film was made, I was also surprised at the quality of it. A good looking film. I think the premise will obviously rattle some people, but I thought it wasn't done in bad taste and that there were some good ideas in there. I wasn't ever bored with the movie or hating it, I just thought overall it wasn't the best and could have been better. But thank you for letting me watch it. I appreciate the hard work everyone put into it and look forward to seeing more from STX in the future. Keep going and thanks!

Storyline is confusing and not good. Title has nothing to do with the movie. Expectation was different from the movie shown. Thought there would be more apocalyptic action but none.

It's entertaining enough considering today's climate, and it's impressive that it was filmed during the pandemic, but the characters are bland, the narrative is rushed and underdeveloped and the villain basically has no real motive... so what is there to get behind?
